This black and tan boy is Sherlock Holmes . . . notice he has done his good detective work and discovered the tennis ball. He is holding it under his left paw. It is covered in dirt but indeed he found it and is so proud to show it to you.

Sherlock's friends in the bottom picture are Alvin to the far left and Shakespeare in the middle. Alvin needs double knee surgery and Shakespeare needs Cataract surgery in his right eye. We have lots of fundraising to do for these two!

This beautiful red girl is Sophie who has just gone swimming for the first time . . . and she is a good swimmer! The only problem is, her short little legs can't reach the steps so her foster family has to have someone in the pool with her at all times. Who would have thought little Sophie would have been a mermie-mermaid? Good girl, Sophie, good girl!

Sophie has been struggling with allergies, ear infections and skin problems. Multiple vets have seen her, and we are just now starting her on a six month holistic program called Isotherapy which is designed to use her own dna against her own allergies. The Isotherapy over time, will build up anti-bodies to change her body from the inside out, so she can build up allergy resistance to the things she is allergic to. We are trying this after all else has failed and really, in hindsight, we probably should have just tried this first. But she was a tough case and sometimes dogs with allergies can be quicker to fix by just changing the food. Hang in there Sophie, in about six months from now, your itchy skin and ear infections are going to go bye-bye!

This is Ringo the rock star! (well, at least we like to think he is). When we rescued him, we thought he looked like a rocker with his moppy head and he is just the coolest dog ever, everyone whom meets him joins the "Ringo fan club". Ringo just got his summer hair cut, and looks a lot more clean with his short hair but he doesn't want you to worry, he will still stay true to his rock star roots!
