Velvet is an elegantly beautiful 1 year old female Cocker Spaniel. She is incredibly sweet and cuddly. She is also highly intelligent, loyal and affectionate.
Velvet loves neighborhood walks and hanging out at home with her people as much as she loves the great outdoors. She is dog friendly and ideally paired with another gentle and mature dog. She would benefit from a low key, predictable lifestyle with a strong routine.
Camp Cocker rescued her from the Hesperia Animal Shelter on July 23rd where she was brought in as a stray. Hesperia is a high foreclosure area with an astronomically high rate of animal abandonment.
Velvet is afraid of loud noises and needs a patient owner who can help ease her incrementally into new situations and friendships with other dogs. She is housebroken and is comfortable staying at home by herself. She is currently being fostered by a Camp Cocker family in West Los Angeles.
