Precious found herself turned in to the shelter by her former owners, at the age of 12! Then to make her world even more bleak, she was adopted by someone from the general public and returned a few weeks later because she was "too nice" and they were looking for a guard dog. Precious is dreaming of finding someone who would like to spoil her and give her a nice lap to snuggle on or a couch to share. She is a nice little lady and who knows what kind of neglect she has known before we came upon her.

Precious just had some mammary lumps removed and her biopsy came back negative and we were so elated at the good news that we all did a happy dance together! (Precious happy danced too). If you are looking for a gentle mellow little dog, Precious is the one for you. C'mon, we are all going to age one day, don't we all want to be loved no matter how old we are? We personally think the oldies are the best dogs ever!
