Meet the active boy with the English face, INDIANA!
My name is "Indiana" and I am an outgoing, friendly, and active red boy! I'm 2-3 years old, and looking for a great forever home who will love me, keep me active, and give me something fun to do...I would be an awesome agility dog! I'm smart, eager to please and have lots of energy and drive.

My temperament is outgoing and playful. I love other dogs and am very respectful to the pack order in a household. Sometimes I get excited with other high-energy dogs and can get a bit rough so I may do best in a home where there is not a overly-dominant, active dog in the household, who may cause me to get worked up. I am very affectionate and love everyone, even strangers. I do get excited when I first meet other people, especially if they are also excited. I'm best if approached calmly so I can keep my excitement level in check until I get to know you. For some reason, I do not like strangers touching my backside and can be sensitive about that area.

I am a great housedog and obey all the house rules. I am housetrained and doggie door trained; best of all I do not try to mark in the house. I only bark when there is a reason; I don't even bark when strangers come to the door.

I would be a great agility dog as I am smart, obedient, outgoing, and love to have a job to do! I would love any activity where I can use my brains and my energy! I sometimes get over-excited and bark when outdoors with other activity going on close by, because I want to join in and play. My new home will need patience in teaching me basic manners; I was just never taught the right way to behave. If I get enough daily exercise and attention, I will be just fine. Normally, I walk nicely on the leash and love going for walks.

Indiana is currently in a foster home in Phoenix, AZ so we are hoping to find an adopter that lives closer to that area. We will adopt out of the area but only after a home check can be done and then you would need to fly to Arizona to meet him in person. Here is a short VIDEO of Indiana's first day in his new foster home and here is another video of him from a few weeks later!

If you are interested in meeting Indiana, please begin with the online application and read about our adoption process and adoption fees here. Thank you so much for supporting animal rescue!
