Meet the lovable red head, DUCKY!
Ducky is a sweetie pie, he is dog friendly, people friendly and all around just has a great temperament. His owner turned him in to the shelter with the name "Lucky" (ask any vet, this name is a curse for something bad to happen to a pet) and since he answered to his name, we decided to just change the first letter and hence Ducky was born!
Ducky is active and energetic and loves to run and play in the yard with the other cockers. He has picked up the routine quickly and is very adaptable and cooperative. The first few days he howled a little and displayed some minor separation anxiety but now that a week has passed, he is getting more comfortable to his new surroundings and isn't howling so much. He really is human centric and wants to be near people. We imagine it must have been difficult for him to be rejected by his last human only to linger and suffer in a scary crowded animal shelter. We are aiming to find this boy someone who is really going to make a life long commitment, no more changes for Ducky, he needs stability and reliability and he needs to know you will not break his little human lovin' heart!
