Clifford is one of our most favorite doggies ever. We got him just in time the day before Thanksgiving. He was adopted out of the shelter by someone from the general public and they returned him because he had kennel cough and they didn't want to pay for a trip to the vet. So we heard the shelter was going to put Clifford to sleep the very same day and we sprung into quick action to get him the heck on out of there!

As you can see in the before and after videos below, he was quite a neglected doggie for a long long time. It took us more than an hour just to shave off the matted hair just so he could be comfortable enough to check in to the animal hospital. He went on to stay at our vet for a couple of weeks while he got over an upper respiratory infection. Once he was feeling better, his little personality came out and he is a dream boy! Just quiet and unassuming and sweet.

And our most favorite thing about Clifford ever? His enormous underbite! We love love love it and how cute he looks. We just want to kiss his face and tell him that his life is now going to change and he will never be forgotten and neglected ever again. Clifford craves human interaction and will bond quickly to his new guardian (he bonded fast to his new foster mommy). We just learned that he does not want to share his special human with other dogs in the home and we think he might do best as an only dog so that he won't have to share your love. He is dog friendly in all other circumstances, he just doesn't want to share his home with a dog. We need to be sure that Clifford gets only the very best of homes in the whole entire world.
