August is approximately nine months old and has a great outgoing and happy temperament. He will run up to just about anyone who will pay him some attention and wag his wiggle butt and flirt with you. He is dog friendly and goes with the flow, just really a social boy and not the kind of dog who would do well being alone all day with no one for companionship. He is the light of the party when he visits doggie daycare (as you can see in the pictures with all of his cocker friends). Because he is such a youngster and his former owner didn't put any effort into him, his new adopter will need to take him to obedience classes so he can learn how not to jump or pull on the leash. He is very smart and motivated by positive reinforcement so he is apt to learn quickly as long as you are a good communicator and are consistent with what the dog trainer in obedience class instructs you to do. This is one great little fella and someone very lucky is going to get to adopt him!
